Welcome to Bromley Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website carhirebromley.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services

1. Bromley Tenancy

All Bromley vehicle rentals are governed by a Rental Agreement issued at booking confirmation or when the vehicle is collected. This agreement sets out the applicable terms and conditions, insurance information, charges, and your responsibilities for that rental. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Eligibility Requirements for Bromley

To rent a vehicle from Bromley, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old for Bromley rentals (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, with additional charges possible for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period stated in the Bromley Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of address, plus any additional documentation requested at booking or collection.

3. Bromley Booking and Payment

  • Bookings may be made via our website, by phone, or in person at our Bromley location. A booking deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. Final payment and the security deposit are normally payable on collection of the vehicle. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Bromley Vehicle Collection and Return

  • You must inspect the vehicle thoroughly at collection and report any existing damage to Bromley immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed by you and a Bromley representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be assessed and charged in line with Bromley’s damage policy.

5. Insurance and Indemnity

  • Bromley includes basic third-party insurance with every rental. Full coverage details and the applicable excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to lower your financial liability. We recommend that you review these options carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount stated in the Rental Agreement.

6. Cancellation and Changes — Bromley

Bromley’s cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Please refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for specific details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Bromley Prohibitions

You must not use the Bromley vehicle for:

  • Any illegal purpose or activity involving a vehicle provided by Bromley. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous substances. Sub-letting to third parties or allowing unauthorized drivers. Operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol or drugs. Any use for purposes the vehicle is not intended or certified for.

Bromley may terminate the rental immediately and charge additional fees for breaches.

8. Bromley Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Bromley will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the total fees paid by you to Bromley for those services in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law for Bromley

These Terms for Bromley are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.

10. Changes to Bromley

Bromley may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of Bromley’s services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
